Amber Weitzer
President | Founder

Amber Weitzer is the Broker | Owner of Couture Real Estate Firm, host of The Amber Weitzer Podcast, Silhouettes of Success and Founder of The Silhouettes of Success and Silhouettes Of Success Foundation a 501(c)(3) providing business, professional development training and donated business/professional wardrobe pieces to our Silhouette Of Success Foundation Sorority Sisters. 

Amber says she’s a pretty lucky lady, raised a Texas girl but born in Michigan rooted in Midwest values with a solid work ethic and brought up respecting The Golden Rule. Amber is grateful for her devoted husband, children and family with blessings of the benefits from an amazing, sizable extended family of educators, coaches, entrepreneurs and mentors for strong role models including beloved Great Aunt Mary 100 years of age and Grandma Adella 106 years of age.

As a second-generation real estate Broker, she grew up playing office at her father’s brokerage. She’s been through four significant economic downturns; the 80’s, September 11^th, recession of 2007-2009 and 2020 pandemic has grown stronger, survived in business and tenaciously striving for more! It’s her passion and goal to serve others, passing the light forward.

Instinctively journaling and taking copious notes along the way (a true product of her mother and Grandmother Dorothy) from her first retail job, to the corporate gig with side hustles of dumpster diving for vintage treasures, later an event, floral and wedding services business back into real estate, whew! Her business experience has been enriching as she evolved during her journey. All of this exposure and experience allowed her to discover, define and unveil her true “Silhouette of Success” cultivating of who she is today. 

She is a Board Member of Women Steering Business and Audit Committee member, volunteer and independent contractor Property Master at Artisan Center Theater for the productions: Seussical the Musical (2020), The Sound of Music (2021), Steel Magnolias (2022).

Alexis Jones-Weitzer |
Secretary

Alexis’s professional journey has already taken her down a variety of paths, always with sense of service to others including corporate software support, real estate brokerage executive support, restaurant, bar and event management and the luxury automotive industry along with social media management. Alexis has a strong sense of service, deep compassion for humanity with her amiable disposition and with high-achieving ambition she is invaluable to any organization.

As the Co-Founder of Couture Curators in which she co-created and developed the blueprint for the successful program launch in 2017, it has been immensely rewarding knowing how many women she was able to help with her contribution. The organic growth of this campaign laid the foundational blocks for Backstage, The Dressing Room for Silhouettes Of Success Foundation.

Alexis is a firm believer in collaboration, following your intuition and growing as an individual with every opportunity presented in life. With this new chapter working with Silhouettes of Success and as the Board of Directors Secretary of Silhouettes Of Success Foundation, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to impact women like me on their paths to a fulfilled life, both personally and professionally. Alexis believes that women have so much to offer each other; whether it be support, guidance or mentorship and she is excited to start uplifting our gems to a higher elevation.

Alexis lives out loud and in vibrant color. She is newly engaged to her true love and a doting mother of two chaotic puppies. Her hobbies include painting, strolling antique malls and reorganizing every inch of their home. 

Catherine McDonald |
Vice President

A native Texan, Catherine fell in love with nonprofits through annual “Community Day” volunteering led by her employer of 21 years, a health care performance improvement company. Inspired at a social benefit organization, Catherine quickly developed a deep passion for charitable work. Her genuine compassion for people sets the perfect stage for her to continue to flourish as a board member of Silhouettes of Success Foundation.

Crys Kelly |
Treasurer

Crys Kelly grew up all over Texas, moving every few years with her family to follow her father’s career path in business.  She grew up with dreams of being on stage.  Though Broadway has yet to cast her in a starring role, she has carved out a life that feeds her passions and provides the means to serve others.

Crys has been involved with a variety of organizations focused on helping others.  She founded and led The Princess Alexa Foundation for 5 years before becoming a chapter leader for The Compassionate Friends which culminated in co-chairing the National Conference in Dallas in 2015.  Leaving that group, Crys shifted her focus on serving women and their needs.  She currently works with New Friends New Life and is thrilled to be on the Board of Silhouettes Of Success Foundation as the organization’s Secretary.

Crys worked her way through college and earned a degree in Business Management and began her working life in the retail industry.  She has held various leadership roles and is currently the Social Analytics Director for Iris Worldwide.  

In every role she holds, Crys continues to mentor others to help them develop into their best selves.  She is a natural trainer and strives to consistently support others in their success stories.  She believes that women are essential to the working world and is dedicated to seeing the female force continue to blossom.  Silhouettes Of Success Foundation plays a vital role in carrying out that belief.
