Our V.I.P. Featured Guest Daniella Genas is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, strategy, and innovation expert. Through her business, She’s The Boss International Daniella helps SME’s to transform their businesses. She has used her techniques, experience and training to generate significant results among the companies she has worked with. Key metrics include increased turnover and profits, increased staff, launch of new products/services and increased brand awareness across several businesses, in a diverse range of sectors. Daniella launched her first successful business in 2007 and her second business in 2014. She sold both businesses in 2015.
In addition to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Daniella lists University Lecturer, Charity Trustee, radio presenter and Visiting Industrial Fellow as roles in her portfolio career. Daniella’s current focus is empowering SME’s to build profitable, sustainable, systems driven businesses.
With an MBA and Masters under her belt, alongside her entrepreneurial experience and formal business training, Daniella has a breadth of knowledge which has proven invaluable to the clients she works with. She has a proven track record of supporting clients to grow revenues by 6 figures.
Sink or Swim: Always on the hustle. Daniella shares her early recollections of her childhood always creating a way to source income for herself and pocket money. She tells us about her journey of self-discovery realizing she’s an independent versus being told what and how to do something. This led her to leaving prior jobs and positions to then launch her won businesses. At one point she took a hard look to make some tough decisions that were timed just right! Daniella tells a story about being painfully shy as a young lady but how a friends Dad saw potential in her and helped set her up for success-a valuable lesson with encouragement to pass on to others…and now she can add TEDx talk to help resume-WOW!
Fast Lane: Daniella shares her a time in her life when she had many things going on to include having a baby, her mother being very sick on top of her professional life. She shares that it was during this time she had also applied to earn her MBA. A lot of change in those three summer months! She highlights that a significant mission for getting her MBA was to really understand the success factors of a business, its growth and sustainability. Intentional: Time block, systems in place, Alexa, reminders…use it all to stay focused and on track. She has her days structured, to include a designated day of the week to work on her business and strategize. Fresh air, visions for the future life and business (VISION 20) and then if she needs to refocus, she will take a quiet moment to feel what it will look like in succeeding while seeking a solutions-based approach. Did I mention it yet…you will want to take notes! Taking cues, tip and motivation from a reciprocal relationship with and from her support system, husband and clients is how we grow.
