If someone asked me to name the #1 motivating factor for my mission with Silhouettes of Success, it would be passing the light forward to help illuminate another Silhouette of Success…Sisterhood.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary breaks it down something like this:
Sisterhood: Noun
A community or society of sisters
The solidarity of women based on shared conditions, experiences, or concerns
I say, hell yes! I has been a mission of the heart for many, many {many} years, and slowly yet with pep in my steps we are gaining traction on this path in this journey to showcase, collaborate, fellowship and uplift. So why focus on Sisterhood in this Sorority Session? Well, because Lezlee is a treasured Sister-friend and trusted confidant in all things business, social and sentimental!
We are in lockstep of having like-minds, full hearts and oodles of creative energy for many swirling plates in the air at the same time-it works!
This is also our 1st ACT II episode for a V.I.P. Featured Guest, like I said…cue the confetti. Her journey over the last three years since Episode 11 has been mind-blowing. I encourage you to go back and tune in to her Episode 125 if you missed it. She reminds me of what we are here for, what we all seek and dare I say crave-sisterhood. Many women this comes naturally all the way back to their youth, college days in a sorority and then uber social…for others like me, not so much. There are some that have a friend, or a few solid friends or perhaps may struggle to connect…all is well and in time we find our people, our sisters. Once again, it leads me back to the mission of Silhouettes of Success…Sisterhood.
We are here to help support each other, collaborate, share best practices through showcasing real, relatable, and down to earth women. In this new year we will be opening a new chapter, are you ready?
I’m giddy that we are curating a sisterhood that embraces the mission of passing the light forward so I hope you will join us in 2024, you are right where you need to be…here with us!
