She recently launched a new endeavor For the  of Dallas with Lauren Davis, a show to highlight people that are using their time to make positive impact in the community.

CONVERSATION HIGHLIGHTS

No Limits: Lauren shares how she is an everyday girl from a somewhat broken American, home during her childhood that helped to shape and teach her grit. She talks about the people that came into her life showing her God, credits her softball coaches making a huge impact on her life. Lauren talks about her parents and a product of doing her best with what life brought her, trying to break the cycle of brokenness and doing her part trying to average her family up. She says that God wastes nothing, so she tries to do the same. Tune in, she travels to New York City for fashion college and explores life and more of her personal journey making her way to Dallas! Did you catch the part of “no limits”…wow!

Perspective: She shares a wonderful parental practice on taking ownership, accountability and closing the gap. She took ownership back and sought help to try and understand the pain and trauma of her experiences with her father’s alcoholism. She attended Al-Anon meetings alone. Fast forward, she is able help others that are in pain or suffering. Her drive for community and service to others is remarkable. Guard rails on her daily routineish are best for her success. Steeping out running for political office expanded her ability to work more, different.

Breakthrough: Learning how to bust through comfort zones is directly related to her success today. She refuses to stay comfortable. Hitting a barrier, she asks herself; “what is it that I am not doing that I want to do, what is holding me back?”. Lauren shares that once she identifies that root issue whether it’s fear or anxiousness, she is then able to own it to then break through and get to the other side. She will then reflect back on how it really wasn’t so bad!
