Our V.I.P. Featured Guest For over 20 years, Courtney Garner Lewis has been a commercial banker in the North Texas Market with both large and small institutions. She is currently leading the Middle Market effort for Cadence Bank in Tarrant County.

A first-generation college student, she began her academic journey at Dallas Community College and won an academic scholarship to attend SMU where she was a pre-med student. After deciding medical school might not be an option with two small children, she changed majors and earned a degree in Finance which launched her career in banking.

When not meeting with clients or working on deals she can be found serving the community. She is currently serving on the boards of the United Way of Tarrant County, Housing Channel and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. She is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth, the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth and Immediate Past Chairwoman of the Housing Channel. She is a Leadership Fort Worth Class graduate and a 40 under 40 recipient in 2013.

Courtney currently resides in Fort Worth with her husband and three dogs. Her children are now grown, and she enjoys time with her 3 grandsons.

1^st Generation: Courtney share with us the early shaping of her Silhouettes of Success talking to us about her college journey, the discoveries and path into the banking industry. She is a 1^st generation college student and shares with great admiration and pride words of wisdom from her Grandfather! Tine in to hear that touching segment. Courtney talks about adapting to excel, skills she nurtured to elevate and paints a picture of her journey along the way throughout her 24 years in the industry. She starts her days with a work out at The Fort Worth Club where there is an organic circle of women like-minded to kick off her day. She also takes time to unplug and invest in herself with a group of Female CEO’s and business owners. Courtney patriciates in leadership programs and takes time off for self-care. She mentions prioritizing and constantly learning. Tune in as Courtney picks up the phone to create success for herself. Nurturing relations she stays inspired by her Mentors and Advocates.

Entrepreneur: Courtney and her husband have jumped into the world of entrepreneurship. She is now in the same shoes and her customers that she has advised all of these years! They have a franchise of All Dry Services, Metro South. It is a water damage and restoration company servicing both residential and commercial. They work with homeowners, property management teams, apartment owners and insurance providers.
