She Makes a Mean Brownie: A teacher by day, in her kitchen at night creating recipes from scratch on her tiny little apartment. She began testing on small focus groups within her friend and family circles, school and apartment business. She called making brownies a “labor of love”. She eventually finished the school year out and took her passion of making brownies to a full-time business. Lisa says she is proof that persistence pays off! Tune in! Lisa2: Lisa kicks off her day at 4:20am every day! She enjoys her morning workout to get herself prepared as she goes into the office. Lisa shares who she was able to take her labor of love into a delish business. She said it took about 5 years to get off the ground learning new ways to be better and grow into new larger spaces as they scaled in Cleveland, Ohio. Lisa credits family and friends with supporting her, especially her sister-in-law Lisa! Lisa & Lisa one more logical, one is more emotional so it’s a perfect balance! The delight of their success, Lisa shares she is “Brownie Obsessed” and they now deliver fresh baked happiness globally, not just in Cleveland, Ohio! Lisa talks about the lux ingredients and can tout that they make the most brownie flavors on earth and creativity surrounding their brownies that makes everybody happy receiving “Brownie Points!”.
Adaptability: Talking with Lisa about best practices that she can share with us that have helped aid her success, she says that adaptability is a strategy and an open mind. Lisa also shares that she surrounds herself with people that know more than she does…tune in on why! She advises anyone started a business or in business to remain optimistic. Her advice is to remain optimistic and says that the day you lose your optimism for your business, is the day you lose your business. There will be ups and downs, it is a roller-coaster ride!
