The Amber Weitzer Podcast Silhouettes of Success

EPISODE 107

SILHOUETTE OF SUCCESS | SORORITY SESSION

In this Sorority Session:

Handle With Care.

{Q & Amber’s Ideal Suggestion!}

Let’s review the Conversation Highlights:

Top to Bottom | Eat the Frog | Momentum

Fragile, handle with care, great care! Whoa! Did you tune in to our recent The Amber Weitzer Podcast Silhouettes of Success to hear Aquila’s Episode 107?

Q: How do you care for your commitments?

Ideally: With care, thoughtfulness, prepared and showing up being present filled with energy, enthusiasm!

Q: Are you time blocking with thoughtful intention?

Ideally: Yes! This is a habit, it takes consistency to create with discipline to maintain. This works when your goal is so amazing it excites you, the goal is big enough that you will go for it and do it scared! Yes, sometimes it is as massive as getting the laundry done, but that is exciting too. Mark it off the list.

Q: Goals! Goals! How do you reach them?

Ideally: Remember what Aquila suggested in her Episode 107, that works for her? Hint…ribbit, ribbit!

Q: What is your process for setting your daily priorities?

Ideally: Review your calendar on Sunday to reacquaint yourself with the new week. Some prefer to make a plan each evening for the following day, others prefer the early mornings to make a daily To Do list. It’s what works best for you. Setting the daily properties for tasks each day build up momentum towards achieving the goal. Keep in mind Aquila’s shared Nora Roberts’ quote for her Intentional Inspiration:

The key to juggling is to know that some of the balls you have in the air are made of plastic and some are made of glass. If you drop a plastic ball, it will bounce-no harm done. But if you drop a glass ball, it will shatter. That means you have to know which balls are glass and which balls are plastic and prioritize the glass ones.”-Nora Roberts

Q: When are you able to find quiet time to gain clarity on your milestone priorities to reach the goal?

Ideally: Ask yourself, what part of the day do you have the best energy, when can you sneak away for 15 minutes to invest into your time blocking and priority setting. I find it exceptionally productive to profess my need to the family, disconnect from all devices (a.k.a distraction!), and focus in on the literal task at hand.

Q: Boundaries, do you have them?

Ideally: Make them, implement lines in the sand and your non-negotiables. In my 20+years of real estate never had a consistent “day off” until I entered coaching with Mike Ferry Organization. My coach, which you have heard be talk about Coach Julie Kaczor Episode 2 gave me permission (yes, crazy that this needed to happen!) to take Sunday’s OFF. I updated my voicemail greeting and do you know how many clients, prospects or callers complained to me…ZERO! Yes, 25+years at this point in the business and I needed permission to profess I had a day off. Craziness. In fact, many left thoughtful and encouraging messages, pleased that I was off…again, crazy. Do what works for you as you explore boundaries you need to set to set yourself up for success, refresh and take on the world!

Set yourself up for success by granting yourself grace to embrace the flops, faux pas and failures to keep in mind those are lessons learned that are inspiring your personal and professional growth!

Go get em’…ribbit, ribbit!
