You asked for it, here it is again…The Permission Slip!
I was granted “permission” by my business and real estate Coach Julie Kaczor in 2016 to take Sundays off. Gasp! Wait, what? That’s unheard of, I am a REALTOR. Is she crazy? Ah, but what Coach Julie says goes and you do not argue. So, I did my homework as instructed and time blocked off every Sunday, in one fell swoop. It took less than 10 seconds. Next I updated my voicemail. It took less than 30 seconds. Finally I told my family and the rest is history. I never, ever, EVER had one client or customer make mention of or have an issue with me not taking calls, responding to emails or messages on a Sunday. In fact, to my utter surprise, it was the opposite. Yes, that’s right…the feedback I did receive was glad I take Sundays off. Huh, all of these years and just like that-I am off on Sundays. Thank you Coach Julie Kaczor.
As the years have gone by, I began facilitating presentations and courses I created for a local nonprofit. There it was again, we seemingly are seeking permission to celebrate our successes or take some time off for ourselves. In this specific class, I had a significant epiphany and got right to work designing immediately after the class signed off of ZOOM. This class was graduating in two, yes TWO days and I wanted to really do something special for these ladies. They deserved it. They deserved to be gifted permission, not by me but from themselves, for themselves. Are you following me? So, I created The Permission Slip inspired by the old school style, ugh it’s considered “vintage” now phone message pad. Special tip: In doing business local, shopping and supporting local…I have great partners to call upon, to include some big guns FEDEX-Colleyville. This location is as local as local gets in their customer service with Scott’s team is darn near family to us! Scott listened to my idea, heard my idea and he nailed it, printed it, created the pads plus had my order ready within TWO hours! Yes, two HOURS. Bam! I was able to deliver graduation goody bags to this class that had rocked my world with their diligence and efforts to elevate themselves. I am told the loved the surprise gift bags with The Permission slips to Celebrate!

- ELEVATE: Invest in you. Invest in your best asset, YOU. Elevate your mindset, your skillset, the company you keep, how you spend your time, what you read, watch and intake (mind/body/soul).
